TURLOCK — The fields are now set for this weekend's California Collegiate Athletic Association Men's and Women's Soccer Championship tournament at Warrior Stadium.
A total of eight teams will visit Turlock and the campus of California State University, Stanislaus beginning on Thursday.
Cal State L.A earned the No. 1 seed in the women’s soccer championship that begins Friday at 11 a.m.
The Golden Eagles will be joined in the field by No. 2 seed Cal State Dominguez Hills, No. 3 UC San Diego and No. 4 Chico State.
The four-team tournament opens with UC San Diego facing Cal State Dominguez Hills at 11 a.m. followed by Cal State L.A. versus Chico State at 1:30 p.m. The championship match is scheduled for 11:30 a.m. on Sunday.
Cal State L.A is also the No. 1 seed on the men's side, with the men’s soccer championship starting on Friday with the first semifinal match at 4:30 p.m.
The Golden Eagles will be joined in the field by No. 2 seed Cal State San Bernardino, No. 3 Cal State Dominguez Hills and No. 4 Sonoma State.
The four-team tournament opens with Cal State San Bernardino facing Cal State Dominguez Hills at 4:30 p.m. followed by Cal State L.A. versus Sonoma State at 7 p.m. The championship match is slated for Sunday at 2 p.m.
