TURLOCK – The Warrior Baseball program took part in some community service on Saturday, October 31 at Donnelly Park in Turlock.  Head Coach Kenny Leonesio, his coaching staff and 40 of the players worked together to help re-stain the kids playground at the park.

"The baseball program feels it is important for us to reach out to the community and help out when we can," said Coach Leonesio.

The city provided the group with brushes, gloves, rollers and the staining product and the team went to work.  The Warriors hope that their effort was beneficial for the community and looks forward to contributing more services in the future.

Verena went undefeated last week and won three singles matches by 6-0, 6-0 scores. She also won all three of her doubles matches with Katie Eng and was named CCAA player of the week.
