Cal State Stanislaus, which also beat HSU in Arcata on Oct. 3, 3-0, improved to 10-17 and 4-15 in the California Collegiate Athletic Association. Humboldt State falls to 7-20, 3-16 CCAA.

Defensive specialist Lauren Charles had a career-best 21 digs and freshman setter Jessica Lehner had 41 assists, tying her personal-best. Lehner had 40 assists last Saturday.

For Vicchio it was the sixth time this season that she had 17 or more kills. The sophomore outside hitter was coming off a career-high 20-kill performance last Saturday night against Cal State East Bay.

Andrea Fett also put up big numbers for the second consecutive match. Friday night she had 15 kills and 10 digs for her first collegiate double-double. She had 16 kills last Saturday in  helping Stanislaus to a two-match winning streak, the team's first during this conference season.

Also contributing Friday night Janay Bankston with 11 kills, Victoria Costa with five total blocks — two of them solo. Charles also had three service aces.

Oceana Matsubu had 12 kills and 16 digs while Joliann Arzadon with 36 assists and 18 digs to lead the Lumberjacks.
