SAN ANGELO, Texas -- Rosemary Feikert earned a second All-American status in as many outdoor seasons as the senior from Concord finished seventh in the women's pole vault at the NCAA Division II Track & Field National Championships on Friday.

Feikert cleared 12 feet and 7 1/4 inches on Friday, the same height as two other competitors. The height was nearly her career best, which was a 12-7 1/2. In 2008, Feikert was eighth with a jump of 11 feet, 10 1/2 inches. Cal State Stanislaus now has had a female pole vault All-American in each of the last six years.

Katelin Rains of Minnesota State-Mankato is the national champion in the pole vault with a 13 feet-7. Rains also won the indoor track title earlier this spring. Jocelyn Kuksa of Grand Valley State and Katrina Biermann of Truman State also cleared 12-7 1/4. In the women's 800-meter run preliminaries

April Montgomery had difficulty breathing during the race, according to head coach Geoff Bradshaw. She clocked 2:21 and did not qualify for the finals on Saturday.

Competing on Saturday for the Warriors will be Kasey Burlingham in the men's pole vault finals and Jasimen Bailey in the women's discus finals.
