Two-time All-American pole vaulter
Rosemary Feikert was named to the ESPN The Magazine Academic All-District women's track & field/cross country team by CoSIDA this week.
Last month, Feikert earned a second All-American status in as many outdoor seasons as the senior from Concord finished seventh in the women's pole vault at the NCAA Division II Track & Field National Championships on Friday. Feikert cleared 12 feet and 7 1/4 inches on Friday, the same height as two other competitors.
Feikert is a nursing major and posted a 3.53 grade point average to earn the award. She is one of two California State University Division II student-athletes to make the team. Cal State San Bernardino's Shawna Alvarez is also on the team. Alvarez is also a nursing major.
