Denali Foldager and
Joey Nunes of Cal State Stanislaus were named the California Collegiate Athletic Association's (CCAA) Female and Male Runners of the Week for the week of Aug. 31 - Sept. 6, it was announced on Monday.
Foldager, a sophomore from Seward, Alaska, captured the Cal State Monterey Bay Invitational on Saturday as she completed the 5K Seaside course in a time of 17:21.
Nunes, a senior from Livermore, Calif., finished ahead of the field at the Cal State Monterey Bay Invitational posting a time of 22:05.
Cal State Stanislaus finished second in the men's and women's races, finishing behind CCAA rival San Francisco State.
