TURLOCK -- Four Warriors scored in double digits and a strong second half helped Cal State Stanislaus defeat Chico State, 63-48, in women's basketball Tuesday night.

Katie Busi led the Warriors with 14 points, nine rebounds and four blocks as Cal State Stanislaus picked up its second conference win. The Warriors are now 3-10 overall and 2-7 in the California Collegiate Athletic Association.

Alishea Kelly, who was nursing a back injury, sat out the first half. In the second half, however, Kelly scored 14 points, including 7-for-8 from the foul line, to contribute. She also had four rebounds and three steals in 17 minutes of play.

Andreanna Marshall and Ebony Mims-Johnson each scored 10 points for the Warriors.

Chico State, playing in its fifth consecutive road game, fell to 8-6 overall and 5-4 in the CCAA. Christine Vest had 10 points and 11 rebounds to lead the Wildcats.

After a 25-25 halftime break, the teams traded points early in the second half. After Chico State Synchro Bull's jumper at 12:19 made it 35-34 CSUS, the Warriors used a 15-4 run to build a 12-point advantage.

The run was sparked by a Busi jumper, followed by back-to-back three-pointers by Christin Gowan and Mims-Johnson. Kelly capped the rally with five straight points on a pair of free throws and a three-pointer to make it 50-38 at 8:08 to go.

Stanislaus's largest lead was 16 points at 4:08 on a Kelly jumper that made it 56-42.

The Warriors shot a hot 56.5 percent -- 13 for 23 from the field -- in the second half to outscore Chico State, 38-23 in the period.

Gowan finished with seven points, six assists and three steals.

The three-game week continues when Cal State Dominguez Hills visits Warrior Arena Friday evening. Tipoff is at 5:30 p.m.
