TURLOCK -- The Warriors managed just 41 points as the Cal State Dominguez Hills Toros defeated Cal State Stanislaus, 56-41, Friday night at Warrior Arena.

The Warriors scored just 18 points in the first half and 23 in the second half as they dropped to 8-7 overall and 4-6 in the California Collegiate Athletic Association.

Frank Monge had nine points while Chad Johnson and Matt Ibewiro each scored seven.

Tim McGrath scored 12 points and Tim McLaurin had 10 points with seven rebounds to lead CSUDH as the Toros improved to 6-9 overall and 6-4 in the CCAA.

Unfortunately for the Warriors, the 41 points scored is a new low for the program. The previous low was 45 set during the 1972-73 season.

The Toros led 24-18 at the half.

The Warriors shot just 26.9 percent in the first half and also held the visiting Toros to just 24 points and 8 of 23 from the floor. The Warriors made 4 of 18 tries from the three-point arch and were also out-rebounded 35-24.

The loss is just the Warriors' second home loss in six games with the previous setback a one-point loss to Cal Poly Pomona, 51-50.

Cal State Stanislaus will try to regroup and take on the Cal State L.A. Golden Eagles on Saturday. Cal State L.A. lost at Chico State, 62-61, Friday night.
