OJAI -- The results were the same for the Warriors' top doubles team at the Ojai Valley Tennis Tournament this time around as Katie Eng and Verena Preikschas fall in the semifinals to the duo for the second time.

Eng and Preikschas dropped a 6-2, 6-4 decision to Fresno Pacific's Katie Sabate and Vanessa Heroux, the tournament's top seed and the defending championship doubles team.

Last year, the Warriors lost to the same Fresno Pacific pair, also in the semifinal round, 6-2, 6-1.

In singles play, Preikschas lost to Azusa Pacific's Sheryl Bon, 7-5, 6-1 in a quarterfinal round match-up. Preikschas also ended up in the quarterfinal round as a freshman a year ago at the tournament.

The Cal State Stanislaus women's tennis team will await the official invitational to participate in the NCAA Tournament with the seedings for the Regional rounds will be announced in the upcoming week.
