CHARLOTTE, N.C. -- Kasey Burlingham became an All-American in men's pole vault for the second time on Saturday at the NCAA Division II Outdoor Track and Field Championships.

Burlingham, the 2009 national champion, tied for eighth by clearing the start-height of 4.83 meters, or 15-feet, 10-inches. He cleared that height with his first jump but missed all three attempts at 4.98 meters.

Ryan Brown of Western Washington is the new champion with a top height of 17-8 1/2. Burlingham tie with Jonathan Arthur of Lees-McRae and Alabama-Huntsville's Luke Beck.

In women's pole vault, both Annie Burlingham and Alycia Wagner no-heighted on the opening mark of 3.63 meters. They made their first attempt at that height on Friday before two weather delays postponed the meet until Saturday. When the track meet continued on Saturday, the two Warriors missed on their two remaining attempts.

Katrina Rodriguez of Chico State won the women's pole vault title with a 12-10 3/4.
