Warrior Track Ends Regular Season

TURLOCK — A select few competed at the windy CSUS Twilight Meet Friday at the Al Brenda Track at Warrior Stadium in hopes to improve their marks before the final cut off date for nationals.

In the women's field events,  Alycia Wagner moves up to fourth in the nation after taking 1st place in the pole vault with a jump of 12-feet 9-inches. Kristy Long finished 4th with a jump of 10-feet 8 3/4-inches. In the Triple Jump Nyesa Enakaya finished thried palce with a  16-feet 11 1/4-inches.

Rubye Elhard won the 1500-meter run to highlight the CSUS Twilight Meet Friday at the Al Brenda Track at Warrior Stadium. Elhard finished in a time of 4:39.08 despite forceful winds. Others Warriors in the 1500m include Elizabeth Grolle who took 3rd with a 4:59.06 and Claire Jenkins finished 5th with a 5:01.51.

In the 800-meter, Marina Ghabbour finished 1st with a 2:24.95. Rachel Naranjo took 2nd with a 2:26.38 and Lindsay Garcia took 4th place with a 2:32.31.

On the men's side, Cuauhtemoc Vallejo-Howard finished 4th in the hammer with a throw  of  181-feet 11-inches. Vallejo-howard also finished 3rd in the discus with a throw of 155-feet. Conrad Deavellar and Cameron Begue finished 7th and 8th with a throw of 145-feet 2-inches. Luther Bell finished 3rd in the long jump with a leap of 23-feet 4 1/2-inches.

in the sprints, Micah Judish had a personal best in the 100-meter with a time of 11.26. Michael cotton finished 8th in the 200-meter with a time of 22.89. Terrance Ellis finished 3rd in the 800-meter with a time of 1:53.33.
