The Warriors begin a four-game stretch away from home this weekend as they travel south to face Cal State San Bernardino and UC San Diego.

This Week's Opponents

Friday, Feb. 10, 5:30 p.m.
at Cal State San Bernardino COYOTES (7-13, 6-10 CCAA)

Series Notes: Cal State Stanislaus has not won a game in San Bernardino since 2004 and are now 3-10 there. CSUSB has a 22-18 lead over the Warriors in the all-time series (18-9 in CCAA play.

Last Time We Met... was on Jan. 7 in Turlock with the Coyotes holding on to beat the Warriors, 65-59. Theresa Henderson had 24 games and 11 rebounds in that game but CSUSB has five players in double digits in scoring.

About the Coyotes: The Coyotes won both games last weekend at home (vs. CSULA and CSUDH) to end a four-game skid … Angela Streets leads with 16.2 points per game, which ranks first in the CCAA. She also leads the CCAA with 46 three-pointers … CSUSB defense has the second worse FG% allowed (.413).

Saturday, Feb. 11, 5:30 p.m.
at #1 UC San Diego TRITONS (22-0, 16-0 CCAA)

Series Notes: UC San Diego has won 17 consecutive games against the Warriors since 2003. The Tritons lead the series 21-8 (19-4 in CCAA play) and are 9-2 against CSUS in the RIMAC Arena.

Last Time We Met... was on Jan. 6, in Turlock. UC San Diego, ranked No. 3 at the time, won 83-61 despite 24 points from Theresa Henderson.

About the Tritons: UC San Diego is ranked No. 1 in Division II for the fourth straight week as the Tritons remain undefeated … In the last eight games, UCSD's winning margin average was 18.7 points … Chelsea Carlisle leads with 16.1 points per game with 46 three pointers … UCSD leads the CCAA in scoring (78.7), margin (+19.5), field goal percentage (.457), rebounding offense (42.0), rebounding margin (+5.9), assists (17.7), defensive rebounds (27.9) and 3-pointers (7.0).

On the Road Again
Cal State Stanislaus hits the road again this week with a pair of games in Southern California. The Warriors are 1-6 away from home this season with the only win a 69-68 victory at Chico State on Jan. 2.

Facing the Top Team
Saturday's game marks the first time the Warriors will face the No. 1 ranked team in the country during the CCAA era. The Warriors last faced UC San Diego on Jan. 6 when the Tritons were ranked No. 3. This will be Stanislaus' fifth game this season against a Top 25 ranked team and the Warriors are looking for their first upset (Cal Poly Pomona is No. 22 this week).

Lauren Godde Turns in Third DD
Lauren Godde made it three double-doubles in-a-row last Friday when she scored 13 points to go with her game-high 14 rebounds. Saturday night, however, Godde was three points and one rebound shy of another double-double as she scored seven with nine rebounds.

Take the Free Ones
Despite the recent setbacks, the Warriors remain one of the best free throw shooting teams in the conference. They are ranked third with a  70.4 percent. Jameiz Terrell leads the team, and is eighth in the CCAA, with a 75.8 percentage at the foul line (47-for-62). Last weekend, the Warriors were 24-for-34 in two games.

Rebounding Godde(s)
Lauren Godde, who added 23 rebounds last weekend, moved up to third in the CCAA in rebounding with a 9.4 per game average. She now has nine 10-rebound games this season. Erin Godde also pulled nine rebounds Saturday night. In fact, a Godde has led the team in rebounding in each of the last eight games. (Erin twice).

Doing the Dishin'
Friday night the Warriors enjoyed the best game when it comes to team-work and passing as they were credited with 17 assists. Led by Rosa Tirado, who had six on the night, the Warriors earned an assist in 73.9 percent of their buckets. Erin Godde also had five assists and Jameiz Terrell added three in that game. Tirado also had four assists Saturday night.

Strong Week For Tirado
Rosa Tirado led the team in scoring in both games last weekend as the senior scored 17 and 13 points in two games. Against San Francisco State, she also had six assists, six rebounds, made all six free throws and had two steals. She then recorded four assists and three steals the following night to go with 13 points. For the weekend, she averaged 15 points, 4.5 rebounds, 5.0 assists and 2.5 steals a game.

We Had Better Days
Saturday night's 41-point loss to Cal Poly Pomona was the team's largest margin of defeat since a 103-60 loss to Cal State Bakersfield on Feb. 10, 2007. The team's biggest loss was the year before, 103-43, versus Division II powerhouse Emporia State.

No Longer Among the Leaders
Theresa Henderson, who averaged 21.2 points per game in the first 14 games of the season has officially fell out of the CCAA statistic leaders lists. She was first on the list, by far. Players must play in 75 percent of the team's games to be eligible. CSU San Bernardino's Angela Streets now leads with 16.2 points per game.
