Marcus Bell scored 20 more points and
Chris Read added 18 points as the Cal State Stanislaus men's basketball team blew-out UC Merced, 90-64, at Hostetler Court.
Bell, who also had 10 rebounds, notched his third straight double-double as the Warriors remain undefeated at 4-0 overall.
The Warriors again shot well, hitting on 50.7 percent of their shots including a solid 22-for-39 second half to run away. Led by 11 points a the break, Stanislaus used a hot second half start to build a lead as large as 33 points halfway into the second period.
Read also had eight rebounds, five assists, a blocked shot and two steals to go with his career-best 18 points.
Shey Mataele chipped in 12 points and
Brian Lopez came off the bench to scored nine and grabbed five rebounds in just a little over nine-minutes of play.
Mataele and
Sam Marcus each also had five assists as the team tallied 24 assists.
The Warriors turned 26 UC Merced turnovers into 31 points.
Griffin Alexander scored 23 points to lead UC Merced (1-7).
