THE WARRIOR ATHLETIC CLUB

The mission of the California State University Stanislaus Warrior Athletic Club is to assist Warrior Athletics coaches and staff in generating external funds for scholarships, capital projects, endowments and other needs as prioritized by the Department of Intercollegiate Athletics.

The Warrior Athletic Club is the fundraising arm of the Department of Intercollegiate Athletics at CSU Stanislaus. Donors to the Warrior Athletic Club become club members and are entitled member benefits based on the amount of their donation. The Warrior Athletic Club is supported by businesses and individuals, and provides funds on an annual basis for athletic scholarships and operational activities such as travel and equipment to more than 250 male and female student-athletes at CSU Stanislaus.

The Warrior Athletic Club is administered by the CSU Stanislaus Foundation, which is recognized by the Internal Revenue Service as a 501(c) charitable organization. Therefore, Warrior Athletic Club members receive IRS charitable donation credit based on the amount of their donation and benefits received for their donation.

WARRIOR ATHLETICS COUNCIL

PURPOSE
The Warrior Athletics Council (WAC) works to support student athletes for the highest possible level of competitive and academic success through identification of external funding sources in support of the University’s Intercollegiate Athletics programs.

COUNCIL MEMBER RESPONSIBILITIES

• Contribute or raise at least $1,000 annually for three consecutive years.
• Attend quarterly meetings, chaired by the Vice President for University Advancement, to provide advice and counsel on building stronger community relations in support of Intercollegiate Athletics programs and events. The Director of Athletics serves as an ex-officio member of the WAC.
• Assist with planning and accomplishment of special Warrior Athletics fundraising events and serve as University ambassadors in the community.
