California State University, Stanislaus is hosting the 37th Annual Hanny Stanislaus Invitational Men’s Golf Tournament on April 11-13 at the Turlock Golf and Country Club.
Course Information
The tournament will take place at the Turlock Golf and Country Club, southwest of Turlock. The championship layout is 6,641-yard, par-72 configuration. The phone number to the pro shop is (209) 634-4976 and the website is turlockcountryclub.com.
Format
The 54-hole, three-round tournament begins with the team practice rounds on Sunday, April 11, beginning at 1:30 p.m.; 36 holes of continues play on Monday, April 12, with shotgun start tee times beginning at 8 a.m.; Tuesday, April 13’s 18-hole single round is also a shotgun format beginning at 8 a.m.
PRE-TOURNAMENT MEETING
The head coaches are meeting on Sunday at 1 p.m., prior to the start of the practice round, in the men’s club house locker room at the Turlock Golf and Country Club.

RESULTS
Tournament results will be available immediately after each day’s competition on WarriorAthletics.com. No results will be faxed to individual schools and media, however, results will be emailed to sports information office personnel and email media list provided prior to the start of the tournament. Please send me your media email list no later than 5 p.m., Sunday, April 11.

2009 Tournament Results & Tournament History
Last year, the Warriors won the Hanny Stanislaus Invitational for the 23rd time and 12th in the last 14 years … The Warriors shot an 18-over 882 to finish ahead of CSU San Bernardino (+21) … Jake Koppenberg of WWU was the individual medalist (-3) with a three way tie for second at even par. CSUS’s Teddy Schrier was the first day leader before finish at even par … Sonoma State won the 2008 tournament with a +8, 872 … Jarin Todd set a new tournament record with an 8-under 208, winning individual medalist honors by seven strokes over teammate Patrick Bauer … the team record for the tournament is 861, set by Cal State Stanislaus in 2005 … the tournament was renamed in 2009 (formerly Buzzini Stanislaus Invitational) in honor of former head coach Jim Hanny, who retired at the end of the 2008 season.
