WARRIOR SOFTBALL FIELD FACTS
The Warriors Softball Field and complex is located behind the Ed & Bertha Fitzpatrick Arena and across from Warrior Stadium in the north-east corner of the University.

The facility also included an intramurals softball field, batting cages on both sides of the field behind the two dugouts and ample sitting and picnic areas in the outfield. Approximately 100 seats are available behind the backstop to provide a intimate, close-to-the-action seating area for spectators.

Through generous contributions from area businesses, the softball complex received some recent upgrades to the locker room, which is located inside the adjacent Ed & Bertha Fitzpatrick Arena. The new locker room, completed just prior to the 2011 season, features wooden lockers, new carpet and a big screen TV.

Just before the start of the 2012 season, exterior fencing was added to enclose the facility, a project made possible Associated Students Inc., through the Instructionally Related Activities fund.

Stadium lights were erected just prior to the 2014 season to allow evening games and Friday night doubleheaders during conferenece play. The first night game at Warrior Softball Field was on Feb. 12, 2014, against Cal State East Bay in a pair of non-conference games.

For the 2015 season, a new inning-by-inning Daktronics wireless scoreboard was installed just in time for the first home game on Feb. 13, 2015, also against Cal State East Bay.
